Delightful naive portrait painting, done in pastels of a young girl standing on a balcony holding a posy of flowers. Signed by the French artist 'E.CORRIER', the large portrait from late 19th/ early 20th century is painted in a charmingly primitive or naive style. Offered here in its original worn frame which has missing sections of surface plasterwork, the portrait is glazed though these photos show it without the glass. The portrait itself is in good condition with one tiny repair.
Measures 52 inches tall x 34 wide. From France c.1890-1910
