Roger Marcel Limouse (1894 - 1990) - Born in Algeria, and after a brief career in civic administration in Tunis in 1919, he studied art under Jean Paul Laurens at the Academie Julian in Paris. It was at the Academie Julian, that he met and shared a studio with the painter Jules Cavaillès.
