M1893 RECLAIMED OAK BOARDS FLOORING 26SQM AVAILABLE SOLD PER SQM

Very old, characterful, reclaimed rustic oak floorboards / flooring, 26 square metres of useable timber available SOLD PER SQUARE METRE and on a first come first served basis. Price is £240 PER SQUARE METRE inc vat. Please contact us for prices re larger quantity. We are keen to sell the whole parcel and are prepared to offer a discounted per square metre price if the whole parcel is bought.

The widths and lengths are varied which will give a rustic and interesting look. If bought as a parcel there is 29.14 square metres in total, with 26 square metres of useful, useable timber, once the splits etc are cut away. There are 80 boards (plus a few free boards - if total parcel is bought) and this equates to 30 runs of boards at approximately 470cm average (see floor laid out in photos), per run. 

The length of the shortest board is 90cm and the longest board is 290cm, with quite a few boards at this longer length. The average board length is 175cm. The oak has had the ends squared and it has been cut to length and width. The boards have been skimmed to a thickness of between 2.4cm - 2.8cm. 

The widths are varied from between 13cm - 28cm, with an average face width of 20cm. PLEASE NOTE: You cannot choose width and length and you will be supplied with varied widths and lengths. Any boards over 2.4 metres cannot be posted or delivered by courier and collection would be required.  

The boards have great character and signs of their considerable age. The oak has some splits, cracks, holes and knocks. There are some wood knots. There is a weathered texture to some of the planks. There is colour variation and some staining. Please see pictures for condition details. 

The boards have had a light clean up. They have had edges squared, the base planed and ends cut square.We have created a sample to show how the boards look when a sander sealer and clear wax is applied, please see the last picture for details. 

The boards have wonderful character and would make a fantastic feature in a room.
