DP0484 A PAIR OF RECLAIMED PAINTED PINE INTERNAL SLIDING DOORS

A pair of tall, reclaimed painted pine sliding doors, suitable for internal use. Each door has been glazed with three panels of clear glass, however the glass WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS and MUST BE CHANGED TO GLASS THAT MEETS SAFETY STANDARDS BEFORE USE. We can glaze the doors for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The doors have originally been used as sliding doors, with sliding door furniture attached to the top of each door. The sliding door furniture has been removed and some holes and marks can be seen. The inner edges of the doors have a rebate on one edge and a bead on the other so when the doors are closed they slot together nicely. There is a small catch to hold the doors closed. 

The doors are in reclaimed condition with some signs of age and some damage, as expected. The doors have some marks, holes, indentations and damage where sliding door hardware has been removed at the top of the doors. There were some metal securing brackets added to the base of the doors but these have been removed and peg joints added to stabilise the base of the doors. There is some separation to some of the door joints. The pine has some knocks and chips and there are some surface splits in the wood. The base of the doors have some knocks and damage. The glazing putty is missing in places. The paint has some flaking, marks and stains and you may wish to sand and re-paint the doors to suit. Please see pictures for condition details. The sliding doors have a nice look and they would be ideal for a pantry, cupboard or other home project.
