DP0439 2 RECLAIMED EDWARDIAN STAINED GLASS DOORS FOR PAIR OR 2 SINGLES

Two elegant, reclaimed, Edwardian painted pine doors, fitted with Arts and Crafts stained glass panels. The doors were used as single doors but they could be used as a pair. The doors each have three long, slender, recessed panels with mouldings around them. Each door has a beautiful Arts and crafts stained glass panel with a circle design with a glass roundel in the centre and pale green glass surrounding it. Please note, the glass panels do not totally match as each door has some different colour glass. One door has a blue roundel and the other door has an orange roundel. The glass has had some copper ties added so strengthening bars can be added by purchaser if required but they can be snipped off if preferred. The doors have been used internally and would make a very nice internal pair of doors but they are also of a good size to be used individually. Please contact us if you would only like to purchase one door, we may be happy to sell each door separately. If you would like to use the doors externally this may be possible but some work will be required to adapt them for external use and the glass would need strengthening bars. We can adapt the doors for external use for an extra charge, please contact us for details and for a quote. 

The doors are in good reclaimed condition with some signs of age and some light damage, as expected. One green piece of glass has a break. There are some striations and some imperfections in the glass. The doors have some knocks and chips. The paint has some chips and marks. There are holes and marks where door hardware has been removed. We can patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, please contact us for details. One door has a knock to a corner. There have been some pine fillets added below the stained glass panels and therefore the doors cannot be used externally unless some work is carried out to the doors. The door heights may need slight levelling. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have fantastic stained glass and a very nice period appearance and are lovely statement items for a home.
