DP0460 A PAIR OF ELEGANT RECLAIMED INTERNAL PINE GLAZED DOORS

A pair of very elegant, reclaimed, painted pine doors for internal use. The doors are likely to date to the early 20th Century and have a very nice appearance. Each door has a recessed panel at the base, with one side having beading around it. The doors each have a large glazed panel. The doors retain the original antique glass, however, please note the glass WILL NOT MEET CURRENT SAFETY STANDARDS. You could replace the glass but it may be better to apply a safety film that allows the glass to pass regulations and the original glass can then be kept. We can film the glass for an extra charge, please contact us for details and a quote. The inner edges of the doors have a rebated edge so they sit nicely together. The pine has been painted but there are marks and chips to the paint and one side has panels of a differing colour and the doors will need sanding and re-painting to suit. 

The doors are in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of age, as expected. The doors have some knocks and chips and there are some surface splits. The hinges have surface rust and one hinge has seized. There are holes, indentations and marks where door hardware has been removed. One of the inner edges of the doors has some unevenness. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very pretty appearance, are a fine example of period design and they would make a lovely feature in a home.
