Antique Vintage Solid Mahogany Wooden Jewellery Box Casket Brass Bound 1

This is an exceptionally fine quality solid mahogany ladies or gents jewellery or storage box. Dating back to the first half of the 19th Century, it is in outstanding condition thanks to it being professionally restored. It has an unusual moulded brass inlay decoration engraved with the initials FB, flush hinges and polished brass shield form escutcheon, as well as an interior beautifully lined with a mid-blue heavy paper.
The box closes firmly with no gaps, making it a safe, secure place for precious items, with a working lock and key for additional security.
