DP0487 PAIR OF TALL OAK RECLAIMED LINENFOLD INTERNAL DOORS

A very fine pair of elegant, reclaimed, oak internal doors / room dividers. The doors are very heavy and well made and have mortise and tenon joints. The doors have an ornate look with each door having four panels with linenfold detail. The linenfold panels feature on both sides of the doors. The panels have delicate chamfer detailing around them. The doors have a matt varnished finish, highlighting the nice colour of the oak and the interesting wood grain. Each door has three brass hinges. The inner edges of the doors are rebated so they sit nicely together when closed. The doors have wide side rails and a large base rail and they could be reduced slightly in height and width. The doors are in good solid condition with some signs of use, as expected of reclaimed items. The oak has some small marks, scratches and discolouration. The doors have some holes and marks from where door furniture has been removed. There are some small knocks and chips in the oak, especially to the bottom edges of the doors. The hinges have some slight tarnish. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a striking look and will add great character to a room.
