About this item
A very attractive, early Edwardian, pine front door. The door has two raised and fielded panels and a large glazed panel. The door has laminated glass with a very pretty flower and leaf design. The glass is 6.6mm thick. The door has an eyebrow and shelf surrounding the glazed panel, typical of Edwardian design. The pine has been primed and undercoated and is ready for purchaser to add a top coat. The door requires hardware, to be supplied by purchaser. As the item is reclaimed it has some signs of wear but it is in good, solid, condition. There are some slight knocks and chips to the wood but the door is in good condition. There is some glue and slight scratching to the glass. The eyebrow of the door has been repaired, please see pictures for details. The letterbox space has a split on one side and there are some holes where the door furniture has been removed. The base of the door needs slight leveling as the height differs very slightly from one side to the other. The door is a wonderful example of Edwardian design and would add great style to a home.
