This is an antique jardiniere stand. An Italian, gilt metal and marble decorative whatnot, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Delicate detail and an attractive shock of yellow marble.
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order - one small chip to marble under tier.
Graceful gilt metal frame, golden hues exposed through the aged ebonised paint.
Excellent pierced feather pattern accentuates the frame edges.

Pleasingly thick Giallo Siena marble presents a wonderful display surface.
Useful under tier with a smaller square of the distinctive marble.
Slender cabriole legs with unusual, scrolled feather knees, terminating in a scrolled toe.
This is a superb antique jardiniere stand, blessed with fine marble and gently aged paint. Delivered polished and ready to display.
