DE0886 A RECLAIMED ANTIQUE OAK FRONT DOOR WITH STAINED GLASS PANEL
A reclaimed, antique, oak front door with stained glass panel. The door is very well made and has pegged joints. The door has 3 recessed vertical panels with a shaped top that forms a Gothic style arch. The door has a small diamond panel at the top that is fitted with green and red stained glass and plain rippled glass. Please note the glass has several breaks and cracks. We may be able to repair or replace the glass for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss this. The oak has been sanded to bare wood and may have has a wax applied at some point. Purchaser may need to lightly sand the wood and add a finish suited to exterior use. The door has a heavy metal letter box plate with knocker and other door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is in good solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques. There are some small knocks and chips, especially to the edges and base. There are some holes and marks where hardware has been removed. We can patch repair holes for an extra charge, if required, please contact us for details and a quote. The letterbox has some tarnish and wear to the finish and slight surface rust. The glass has some staining or residue glue, tape and there are several breaks and cracks. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has a fantastic Gothic style appearance and would be ideal for a period or country home, adding great character and style.
