About this item
A reclaimed painted pine front door with a large panel for glazing. The door is likely to date to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period and has a design typical of the era. The base of the door has three raised and fielded panels on the external face and recessed panels with mouldings on the internal face. The top of the door has a large panel for glazing. We can glaze the door for an extra charge, please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has been painted black on the external face and white on the internal face. The paint has chips, scratches and marks and purchaser will need to sand and re-paint the door to suit. The door is in solid reclaimed condition with some signs of wear and age, as expected. There are knocks and chips to the pine and the drip bar has weathering and some light damage. One of the base corners of the door has some light damage. The glazing panel edges have some roughness. The hinges have residue paint and some surface rust. There are some holes and marks left from hardware removal. We can patch repair hardware holes for an extra charge, if required.
