This is an English single sovereign holder
It has clear English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1906
It has a sprung lid with a sprung coin holder within. The front cover and will pop open when you press the button in on the stem
The holder is decorated with foliage engraving and a vacant cartouche on the front
It measures 46mm long inc suspension loop x 30mm x 15mm
The sovereign case is in 85% mint condition – some wear on the front but still a nice example
