Obverse: DN GRATIANVS P F AVG "Our Lord Gratianus Pious and Happy August" pearl-diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right
Reverse: VIRTVS ROMANORVM "Courage of the Romans" Roma seated facing on throne, looking left, holding Victory on globe and spear
