    About this item

    Iwar Donner 1884-1964. Swedish

A fleet of single masted wooden fishing boats nestle along a quayside in a sheltered Swedish harbour. A rough sea is evident beyond the harbour wall. Red roves and yellow walls frame the composition, the central element of which is a spirited depiction of local fishing boats at rest.
Colourful oil on board by renowned 20th century Swedish artist Iwar Donner 1884-1964.

Size quoted includes the frame. Image measures 79cm x 62cm. Very good condition. Reframed by us into a natural hardwood frame which is suitable having a finish of your own choosing or leaving bare.
Available to view and buy from our gallery in North Norfolk or ask us about shipping options.
