An appealing and desirable nineteenth century Staffordshire flatback group, nicely decorated and in an appealing white colourway. Also known as “The Faggot Gatherers”. The man is holding a flagon and the lady carries a bundle of produce on her head.
Tolerable condition (the lady having been damaged and reattached at the torso). A classic Staffordshire grouping in a good size and at an affordable price. Very much back in vogue with interior designers.
