About this item
An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft charger. The decoration on this piece is most unusual, to a point of it being difficult to establish exactly what it is meant to be. The central design, I believe to be, some weird, stylised flower. This is surrounded by various borders and further stylised flowers to the rim. There is a painted number “16” to the reverse and the charger dates from c.1780. It is generally in very good condition with just a couple of small chips and the usual glaze flaking to the rim. This can all be seen in the images.
Dimensions: Diameter 35cm. Depth 5cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £20.
