A 19th Century giltwood pier table
with a green marble top standing on a single cabriole leg carved with leaf scrolls, with original gilt
British, circa 1850
Condition: The marble top in lovely condition, with one small chip to the lower left edge, the original gilding with beautiful depth of colour and has not be retouched, is chipped in places with rubbing to some edges. The base screws to the wall to secure it, the marble top sits in position, the leg easily sits over a 6 inch skirting.
