This is a 19th Century English William IV antique rosewood tilt-top centrepiece table circular breakfast table. An English, rosewood tilt-top centrepiece table.
Superior stocks and finish offer a delightful allure. Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout. Select stocks show excellent grain interest. Rich caramel hues beam beneath a wax polish finish.
Striking circular top with exquisite, bookmatched finish. Rolled circular edge sits above a generous drum apron. Tilting smoothly from a stout support column. Released by a long brass lever, resting within an inset brass socket.
Attractive tapering cylinder support unites the top and circular base. Acanthus bulb decor accentuates the collar. Standing proudly upon three heavily carved lion's paw feet. The whole rides smoothly upon inset brass castors for ease of movement.
This is a distinguished antique circular breakfast table, with exquisite stocks, bookmatched to a superior standard. Tilting for occasional use, this table is of centrepiece quality. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to enjoy.
