About this item
A beautifully patinated elm dough bin.....it dates to the last quarter of the 18thc... the dough bin's lift-off lid above a body made from well figured elm with an exceptional natural colour that "aged" elm goes...it stands on chamfered splayed legs and is in excellent condition.....bins like this were useful pieces to own, as they kept the grain which was stored in the bin away from various vermin.
