The clock also has incredible lion hoop handles along with an shield mask design, cartouche numerals with Roman numerals. The French movement is exquisite along with the case, to the top of the case you’ve got the winged lion which I believe is to represent Saint Mark. The Imari work is very fine with applied gilt decoration wonderful deep reds, blues and oranges.
