    About this item

    This cushion is made from a vintage Banjara kalchi (envelope) bag that I've opened out. The bag is densely decorated with embroidery and is also adorned with cowrie shells and tassels that have now worn into pom-poms. Its a beautiful and rare item due to its age and condition. I've backed the cushion with vintage hemp dyed a dusty brick colour. There is a zip fastener and feather pad.
