About this item
A Victorian copper ice cream mould. Originally this would have had a lid. The lid is now missing but it still has its’ original brass screw fitting to the top. The mould is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number ‘437’. There is also a number ‘2’ and a workman’s mark in the shape of an O. It dates from c.1880. There is solder around the brass fitting, some denting to the copper and the tinning is worn but it is still a decorative shape.
Dimensions: Diameter 10.2cm. Height 11.5cm.
