About this item
A Victorian copper jelly mould with a chain link design to the top. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number ‘470’. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Height 10.4cm. Diameter 11cm.
