About this item
An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft plate decorated with a Chinese figure. This is painted, in blue, green, yellow, iron red and manganese, with a Chinese figure, a vase on a table, and flowers. It has a painted monogram “AK” to the reverse and this would be the mark of the potter. It dates from c.1780 and is in very good condition with just a tiny amount of fritting to the glaze on the rim.
Dimensions: Diameter 23cm. Depth 3.2cm.
