About this item
A small, 19th century, green majolica glazed plate. This bears no manufacturers marks but it is English and it dates from c.1820. It is nicely moulded with a leaf design and the serrated rim follows the shapes of the leaves. The design is covered in a mid green, majolica glaze. There is rubbing to the glaze, on the serrated rim of the plate but generally the plate is in good condition.
