About this item
Antique Kendrick & Co Cast Iron Boot Scraper. This is a compact antique boot scraper, made from cast iron made by A Kenrick & Co, still retaining the original paint and have great patina. C1800.
The Kenricks iron foundry was first established in 1791 by Archibald Kenrick (1760 1835). The site bordering the Birmingham canal is still the Kenricks headquarters today. The firm became Archibald Kenrick & Son in 1827 and Archibald Kenrick & Sons in 1883.
This boot scrape would look great outside any front door.
