This is an English pocket watch movement
The movement is a half hunter, stem wound / pin set.
The movement has a good balance and spring but will not tick at present; requires a good overhaul
Movement – the gilt ¾ plate movement has a lever escapement and is signed “J W Benson, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill, London, The Field, Best London Make, P8913”. The movement is in 90% mint condition – 1 light scratch and tarnish
Dial – the off white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel half hunter hands and is signed “J W Benson, London”. The dial is in 99% mint condition
The movement measures 41mm x 7.3mm
