About this item
A very pretty pair of French Parquetry / Marquetry tables dating from the 19th Century. Totally smothered in cross banded Kingwood, Purpleheart, Pau Rosa, Satinwood, and many more.
The tops having a small upstand all the way around with crossbanded edges, stringing and a three "D" effect in parquetry and marquetry central panels with two quivers with arrows entwined with ribbons and foliage. The sides, back and drawer with panels of flowers. The single drawer is made of oak. Slender curved legs with an under-tier shelf, similarly decorated.
Condition : Very Good, no restoration, breaks only signs of wear
expected with age
