    About this item

A relief moulded, pearlware jug with pink lustre and enamel decoration. This is typical of the type of lustreware which was produced by Enoch Wood in the early nineteenth century. It is very well potted and has relief moulded, classical subjects and designs on a blue ground. These are then coloured in polychrome enamels and pink lustre. There is a fine, star crack in the body of the jug, beneath the spout, and there is a further one in the base. Otherwise it is in good condition.

English. Probably by Enoch Wood. Date c.1820.

    Dimensions: Height 12cm. Width 16.2cm. Diameter 12cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
