A simply gorgeous lime wood Italian torchiere, from Italy and made in the 1850’s
The victorians would of had this torchiere in their grand hallway and rubbed this putti looking genie's belly upon coming into the home for good luck,
A few very minor parts missing but totally expectant of a piece so old, condition is excellent with a freshly polished top.
A delightful conversation piece and very rare.
