Massive Glass Ball globe desk watch with 8 day Calendar Moonphase 1890

This is a hugely impressive piece.  Normally watches of this type are just slightly larger than a classic sized 50mm / 2 inch  / 16 size watch. This is 101mm wide and is BIG.

I have taken an image of this timepiece next to a normal wine bottle to give you an idea of scale.

Dial – the white enamel dial has a full compliment of blue steel hands, for the main hands and blue steel for those in the subsidiary dials. The dial has a month function under the 12, a date function next to the 9, day function next to the 3 and a moonphase function under the subsidiary seconds dial.
