About this item
An unusual Minton handled plate in the Lyre pattern 8669.
The backstamp suggests production between 1871 and 1911.
Faience with a rust and blue decor on a white ground and a gilt trim around handles. The rim of the plate is yellow.
Condition : very good, some crazing and a couple of very minor nibbles to the rim, commensurate with age
