About this item
A Minton and Hollins tile transfer printed in blue with a watermill. This is moulded, in the reverse of the tile, with “MINTON, HOLLINS & CO PATENT TILE WORKS, STOKE ON TRENT No2” and it dates from c.1880. It is from a series depicting rural buildings and the transfer print is a very good quality. There are a couple of very small chips to the rim which can be seen in the image, but otherwise it is in good condition.
Dimensions: 15.1cm. square by 1cm deep.
