    Architectural slate mantle clock
    By Brownlee & Son, Edinburgh
    The black polished slate case with substantial pitched roof supported on a pair of gilt fluted columns, the clock with white enamel face and Roman numerals, 9cm diameter face, with a French movement signed ‘R & Co’ made in Paris #51982.  
    Circa 1870

    Condition: The case for the clock is in lovely condition, there are some small chips to the edges of the slate in places, the clock face with fingermarks where it has been wound.  This clocks is complete with pendulum and winding key, but it is sold untested.
