About this item
A small, 19th. Century copper mould with a central pipe. This type of mould is good for baking as the pipe through the centre allows the contents to cook from the inside as well as the outside. The design is known as a penny top due to the overlapping circles on the top which resemble coins and it is equally attractive either hanging or standing on a shelf.
French: c.1880
Dimensions: Diameter 10.5cm. Height 8.5cm.
Condition: Very good. Tinning is worn so not suitable for use. A small hole has been pierced near to the rim so that it can hang.
