About this item
Handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany cheval dressing mirror on stand c.1840. Original 28" x 45" mirror plate within a mahogany veneered frame. Angle adjustable within a secondary frame, veneered to match and with applied mouldings and a pierced brass mount at the centre above the mirror. On curving and tapering legs front and rear with neat little bras barrel castors. Some wear and repairs to the veneers and minor tarnish to the mirror (which could be replaced if preferred). Generally very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
