Swansea Plate with Arcaded Border

A nineteenth century, pearlware plate, with an arcaded border, moulded with a basket weave design. This is boldly decorated with flowers and foliage in pink, red, blue and green enamels. Although unmarked, it is probably from the Swansea pottery and it dates from c.1830. It is in excellent condition.
