A Rare W.Potter & Sons Victorian Brass Shoe Display Stand. Made from brass mounted on a terracotta base with a black finish. The stand has the name W.Potter & Sons Aldersgate Street London. Sole Patentees. C1890
William Potter & Sons were Established in 1846, they ran a department store in Aldersgate Street London, selling shop fitting, these shoe display stands were made for department stores and shoe shops to display the latest shoe fashion, a lovely display piece for the home or as a shop prop.
