About this item
A very attractive Victorian fountain dating to the mid 19th century. It is made of cast iron and is intended to be wall-mounted. The back plate features a dolphin's head surrounded by a shell, through which water falls into the trough below. Underneath the fountain head is a relief moulded design of two entwined dolphins with water spouting from their mouths. It is in good original condition with traces of original paint.
