About this item
These exquisite cushions are made from a vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The blanket dates to the first half of C20 and is hand loomed in cotton and silk. The silk was originally pink and this has oxidized over time to this lovely gold colour. I have backed the cushions with a fine C19 antique linen which is in unused condition, having only a few tiny age spots. There are zip fasteners and feather pads. These cushions would look amazing in a design scheme with neutral or natural colours.
