About this item
A Fistful of Dollars (Pour une Poignee De Dollars) - “This short cigar belongs to a man with no name. This long gun belongs to a man with no name. This poncho belongs to a man with no name. He’s going to trigger a whole new style in adventure.”…
Beautiful Vanni tealdi design for this original 1966 first-year-of-release French Grande movie poster from the classic Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western A Fistful of Dollars. The film that introduced the world to the man with no name. Released a full three years in Europe before it was screened in USA and as it was Sergio Leone’s first film and he wanted it to be well received, he used an American sounding name; hence Bob Robertson’ as Director. A truly exceptional example, the first in a very sought after series of films.
This original vintage movie poster has been professionally linen-backed is sized an impressive 46 x 61 1/2 inches (plus a little more with the linen). It will be sent rolled (unframed).
