This is a charming original 20th Century Vintage Oil on Board Painting depicting Box Hill in the north downs area of Dorking, in Surrey.
The wonderful image portrays a tall church steeple surrounded by trees and a small hamlet of quaint homes.
Surrounding the hamlet are rolling hills with beautiful picturesque downs in the distance.
The Painting is monogrammed with the artist's signature and it is dated 78 (1978).
Inscribed verso with the artist name 'R.L. Hawkins'.
Mounted within the original vintage two-toned frame.
