    About this item

    Augustus William Ennes (1876-1948) was born in Bocking, Essex. He studied at Slade School of Fine Art and at Académie Julian in Paris, and was elected RBA in 1925. He was a prolific exhibitor there and at ROI and Fine Art Society, also showing at RA, Ridley Art Club, RSA and Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Lived in London.

    "The Pool in Autumn" is an oil painting on canvas measuring 24"x 32". It is signed and is framed in a gilt frame giving an overall size of 35"x 43".
