Large Outstanding 19th Century Revival Roman Baths Group Portrait Oil Painting

This is a magnificent large museum-quality Original Oil on Canvas Painting depicting the famous 1853 work 'Tepidarium' by renowned French artist 'Theodore Chasseriau' (1819-1856).

It is a marvellous later example of the original painting that depicts a group of society figures standing before the recent archaeologically discovered Baths of Venus Genitrix in Pompeii, southern Italy.
