    About this item

    William Kay Blacklock studied at the Royal College of Art and lived in Chelsea, Battersea then Edinburgh, where he lived for about four years before moving back south. He exhibited at the Royal Academy between 1897 and 1918, and also regularly exhibited at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and other private and public Galleries.
    "The Hay Meadow, Evening" is a fine quality watercolour measuring 10"x 14". It is signed lower right and is mounted and framed in a good period gilt frame giving an overall size of 18"x 22".
