About this item
A good quality, 19th century, copper jelly mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benham above the pattern number “20”. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. The design consists of eight spiral columns with small dome tops and tomb stone bases. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1870. There is very slight denting to a couple of the columns but generally it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Length 17.2cm. Width 11.5cm. Height 11.5cm.
