About this item
A lovely quality, Victorian copper, fancy border ring mould. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams, above the pattern number ’396’, and to the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and the design has seven angular columns with small, dome tops. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is dark and worn. It dates from c.1870.
