About this item
A good quality, Victorian copper mould with a wheatsheaf to the top. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benham’s, above the pattern number ‘70A’. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a fleur de lys. The wheatsheaf design, to the top, is very deeply moulded and it sits above fluted sides. The mould is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
