    About this item

A Victorian ice cream bombe mould with an inset lid. This was designed so that the mould could be lined with ice cream and the lid could be put into place creating a well in the centre of the ice cream. When the lid was removed this could then be filled with chocolate or a fruit sauce to create and ice cream bombe. It is nicely engraved with a large letter “G" which would be the initial of a previous owner. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is in very good condition and the lid is very firm fitting. The tinning, to the interior, is grey and slightly worn but it could still be used.

    Dimensions: Diameter 11.2cm. Height 12.7cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20  Most of Western Europe add £10.
